Drumeo is looking for a Community Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position and the applicant will be required to work in-house at our studio in Abbotsford, BC, Canada.

We are looking for an individual to connect with, support, and grow our drumming community and specifically our female drumming community. We want someone special, someone exceptional, someone who believes in our mission and can contribute on a daily basis to the growth of our community - helping to achieve our ambitious goal of educating the world about the joys of learning music. Preference may be given to a female candidate.

Key Skills:

  • Competency in drumming with an educational background.
  • Fluency in the major social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with particular attention to typos and grammar.
  • Excellent project management and workflow management.
  • A kind, empathetic and upbeat approach when communicating with students/our audience.
  • A willingness to be on camera
  • A willingness to teach
  • Places a high value on building and maintaining relationships.


  • Work with the Community Manager to help build and grow the community on Drumeo including the female community.
  • Strategize and implement new ways to engage with students.
  • Interact with students in the community to learn more about what motivates them.
  • Create and assist educational and community-driven content to support the students and grow the brand. (Quick Tips, Courses, Community Events, Workouts, etc…).
  • Manage and organize lesson content, worksheets, and other assets.
  • Support the community director by hosting or co-hosting live lessons and student reviews. This includes managing the live calendar schedule and organizing projects as needed.
  • Engage with the community by responding to comments, answering emails/intercom, and being the go-to person for any community needs or concerns.
  • Help in hosting student reviews and Q&A streams.
  • Responding daily to comments in the Members area in a way that provides encouragement, support, and educational value.
  • Review filmed content to proof for errors in delivery.
  • Manage your personal and Drumeo email inbox. This inbox receives responses from marketing emails from non-members, as well as some member communications.
  • Assist in inputting content data into spreadsheets. Creating relevant lesson assignments and organizing the required data for release.
  • Engage with students through social media platforms (FB and IG).


  • Starting Salary: $45,000 per year
