It’s a digital marketing role with a heavy emphasis on copywriting.
That means you’ve studied the experts -- Claude Hopkins, Dan Kennedy, Joseph Sugarman, Ann Handley, Joanna Wiebe, or whoever else. And when Apple launches a new product, you’re checking out the headlines on their sales page. Or when you receive a cool email from The Hustle, you’re adding it to a swipe file.
You know that words matter.
This jay-oh-bee is for somebody who gets excited to kick some ass writing paid ads, landing pages, email campaigns, sales sites, and video scripts. You’ll split-test headlines and subject lines. You’ll play around with YouTube titles until they’re just right. And you’ll be an extra set of eyes that others can rely on.
You believe every brand has a personality and that somehow even a conversion-based advertisement should make somebody smile.
And you’ll also be expected to get gritty --
What blog articles should we write next that’ll serve both our students and the search engines we’re ranking on? Are you cool wading through the last 100 YouTube videos to pull some stats on what’s working and what’s not? Or getting random project assignments where you might not have a clue where to start?
You’ll be an essential part of our marketing team with the chance to come in, get involved with the entire funnel, solve problems, make some mistakes (it’ll happen!), launch some really cool campaigns, develop your skills in a fast-paced environment, and ideally grow into a marketing manager and beyond.

What you’ll do:
#1. Write Lots!
You’ll be the go-to assistant to help our marketing managers deliver more impactful messages to our students. You’ll write for paid ads, email campaigns, video scripts, landing pages, and product pages. You might whip up some cool surveys to find out more about our students -- or work on blog posts that’ll be shared with the masses.
You’ll get into the weeds: setting up segments, preparing reports, reviewing campaigns, doing some research, pulling data, scheduling content, reviewing copy, and maybe even jumping into the comments once in a while. You’ll be everybody’s favorite sidekick!
#3. Solve Problems
If you see a problem, you’re encouraged to fix it. That means you’ll have the autonomy to suggest your own campaigns that YOU believe will make an impact. We’re all in this together -- and we’re always up for an idea that provides a better experience to our students and soon-to-be-students.
Job Details: Full-time. On-site or remote. Starting wage: $45,000 - $50,000 per year.
