If you’re passionate about creating better digital learning experiences for students around the world - then we need to hear from you! Our marketing communications assistant will play a critical role in our Student Experience team and be responsible for direct communication with our students throughout all of our membership platforms - helping them reach their musical goals.

Key Responsibilities

Member Communications

  • Membership Newsletters: Find ways to highlight our best content with each of our four student communities and keep students logging in week after week.
  • Student Onboarding: Onboarding plays a big role in helping students navigate the site and get embedded into our community. You’ll test and continuously improve campaigns.
  • Ongoing Engagement: We want our students to have the best experience possible. You’ll be our ear to the ground to find opportunities for improving our platforms.
Content Releases
  • Content Launches: We release amazing new content all the time. We want students to hear about it and get excited! You’ll create announcement materials for new launches.
  • Copywriting: Turn lesson titles, thumbnails, and descriptions into attractive, click-worthy presentations that drive our students to action.
Ongoing Improvement
  • Analytics: Review analytics from all the above campaigns regularly and measure performance based on the goals of the Student Experience team.
  • Split-testing: Find opportunities to implement A/B testing and evaluate to continuously improve our student’s experience and engagement.

You’ll be responsible for the execution of these workflows with access to our marketing team, creative team, community managers, video production, web development, and more.

Must-haves:

  • Excellent spelling and grammar.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics.

Bonus Points:

  • You love music.
  • You work well collaboratively and independently.
  • You’re interested in customer behaviors and split testing for maximum results.
  • You have 1-2 years of communications or marketing experience.
  • You have any marketing-related degree or certifications.
  • You’ve got a kind, empathetic, and upbeat approach.

Job Details:
This is a full-time, permanent position, on-site or remote. Starting salary is between $40,000 - $50,000 per year. We also offer paid vacation time, flexible hours, sick/personal days, and a benefits package after a waiting period. Oh, and don’t forget the office gym, beer fridge (that’s why we need the gym) and office events (virtual for now).
