Do you love photography? We’re looking for a creative and driven photographer to join our team at Musora Media. As a photographer at Musora, you will have the opportunity to shoot and edit photos that will be seen by millions of people across our social networks, blogs, and member websites.

Compensation will be based on experience. We also offer paid vacation time, flexible hours, sick/personal days, the flexibility to work from home, and a benefits package after a probation period. Our offices are located in Abbotsford, BC.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for all photography for all Musora brands.
• Thumbnail Photoshoots - reviewing video titles and purchasing or organizing props as needed.
• Product Photoshoots - should be comfortable shooting crisp physical product photos on a white background.
• Website Photoshoots - work with the website designers to understand the requirements of each website.
• Guest Artist Photoshoots - photograph, edit, print and have the artist sign the photograph for display.
• Off-Site Photoshoots - twice per year, you will organize and shoot “B-Roll Shoots” showcasing students using our platforms in different locations including houses, bars, vehicles, practice spaces, etc.
• Photo Editing - sort through entire photoshoots and edit all usable photos.
• Researching Photo Opportunities - Use your creativity to improve past photoshoots, and explore new ideas to create brand awareness on social media or elsewhere.
• Organization - naming, tagging, and uploading photos in a way that makes it easy for the team to find what they are looking for.
• Planning - locations, subjects, objects, and lighting, for every shoot.

Requirements:

• Proficient in using a digital camera.
• Proficient in Photoshop and Lightroom.
• A strong photography portfolio.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organization and workflow management.

Bonus Points:

• You love music.
• A degree in photography.
• Any other photography class certifications or training.
